A very delicious combination of sweet and spicy flavors with a slight Asian touch. You can serve it as a light lunch or dinner, but also as a thrilling appetizer. Enjoy! 🙂
Ingredients
- 2 red chillis
- 12 king prawns, ready to cook
- 2 ripe mangos
- 50 g peanuts, roasted and chopped
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon chopped ginger
- 1 tablespoon yellow curry powder
- 50 g butter
- 3 tablespoons peanut oil
Recipe
Cut off the chillis, remove the seeds and chop it into thin strips. Heat 1.5 spoons peanut oil and fry the prawns shortly (approximately 2-3 minutes, do not overcook!). Add chilli, roasted and chopped peanuts, ginger, and dust everything with curry. Stir in butter and honey, remove the pan from heat, stir carefully once again and keep it warm while preparing the mango.
Peal the mango and cut the pulp from the sides of the stone so that you get nice slices. Brush the slices with the rest of the peanut oil and grill it in the pan (or on the grill) for 2 minutes from each side.
Put slices of the grilled mangos on the plate, arrange the prawns and sprinkle with the sauce.
Serve immediately.
